We’re Britt and Conor Hynes, and Cape Cod Firewood is more than just our business – it’s something we’ve built together, from the ground up, right here on the Cape.
Conor started Cape Cod Firewood in 2014, before he even had his high school diploma in hand. What he lacked in experience at the time, he made up for with a relentless work ethic and a genuine passion for the craft. He dove into learning everything about wood – the different species, how they burn, and what it takes to deliver a truly quality product. That foundation of knowledge and care has stayed with us ever since.

“Our customers aren’t just customers – many of them have become friends over the years. We’ve watched each other grow, and that means everything to us. Cape Cod Firewood is a young family business, and every order you place supports ours.
We’re proud to give back to the community that’s given us so much. Every December, we donate firewood to the Yarmouth and Dennis Fire Departments for their Homeless for the Holidays events, which raise money for local food pantries and toys for kids in need. It’s one small way we try to take care of the place we love.
